Looking On The Bright Side: Turning Dread Into Excitement

I'm quite guilty for being one of those people that get awfully jealous of what other people have and taking what I have for granted. It's a terrible habit of mine that I often find myself doing whenever I scroll through Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and even when I'm catching up with friends. Yes, I know, "don't compare your behind-the-scenes other's highlight reel" etc etc... I don't know about anyone else, but that's really much easier said than done. Right now, I'm still working towards a big goal/turning a new chapter, which involves a lot of work, uncertainty, and anticipation, so I often envy the people who seem like they're happy and carefree (which I know is most probably not the case).

Hello friend! I'm still alive and (semi) determined to keep this blog going!

A lot's been going since I made the accidental smoothie; I've been working on a bunch of group projects, started going to the gym (finally), went home for the holidays where I met up with my friends who I missed so much and went to my family's beach house where I finally got a much needed tan!
I flew back to Tokyo on Sunday and now I'm swamped with more work than when I left because I had underestimated the internet capabilities of the middle of nowhere, which is where our beach house is located.
There's probably too much to catch up on from the last time I posted, especially considering that there was about a month-long interval in between my smoothie post and the post before it. It would take pages and pages of my horrible writing about my life thus far, so instead I'm just gonna not... do..it. BUT I did make a short video about my trip to the beach! Check it

Whenever Sebastian visits I imagine big, invisible countdown timers floating on top of our heads that start as soon as we see each other. Then during the trip I forget about them until the the last couple days of days when the numbers turn red as they get smaller and smaller.

Sebastian surprised me and came to visit a week earlier than he was supposed to which was great! On the first week we kicked it in manila for the most part; went to the gym, had lunch out, went to the mind museum, watched wicked, and bunch of other fun stuff.
